Al Gore ... Quiet But Not Forgotten!

Al Gore can be seen as the Carl Sagan of Environmentalism.

He probably would not want to be titled as such but there can be no denying that his “An Inconvenient Truth” was a major catalyst in raising the Green Zeitgeist.

One wonders where the world might be today if indeed he had won the US Presidency?

The possibility is that the Iraq War would not have come about, and that the war in Afghanistan would have been long over.

The USA might not be in the financial difficulties that it finds itself in, neither would Europe.

The world might not only have been far less worse off, but also greener and more sustainable.
