Looking back at Whitby
From the harbour
We caught the sunset
As it slowly dropped
Behind the town.
It was nice
To simply slow down a little
And watch the day go to sleep.
The last few people
Were still playing on the beach
As the waters took on
The colours of the sun,
Almost like liquid gold.
