At Some Hopeless Point In The Struggle There Is Only The Struggle
All Other Options Will Have Been Exhausted …
Working With The Flow Is Now No Longer Possible
Seeking The Positive Energy In The Negative Turbulence Is Futile -
The End Is Almost Upon One …
The Flow Has Only One Destination Now And It Is The Singular Fatal One.
At This Point Surrender Is Fatal
The Only Option Is A Desperate Survival Through A Final Struggle And If That Option Fails It Still Is The Only Option.
Footnote:
This verse is inspired not only by the magnificent photography of Midori Chan but also by her post in a Google+ stream that the frog never gave up, and therein lies the totality of the message in the sequence of images that she took of this event.
The frog (which she called Peter!) did get away even in the 'hopeless' situation that it found itself as Midori pointed out.
Even in this late hour, even as the odds are perhaps stacked against us, as 'hopeless' as it might almost seem to avert the catastrophic consequences of climate change, we should try nonetheless.
