Surrender Is Fatal
The Only Option
Is A Desperate Survival Through A Final Struggle
And If That Option Fails
It Still Is The Only Option.

The frog (which she called Peter!) did get away even in the 'hopeless' situation that it found itself as Midori pointed out.
