... they lobby against subsidies for renewables - yet they themselves enjoy such subsidies; this is the difference between Capitalism as 'understood' by the Left, especially the Revolutionary Left, and the Real Free Market.
The Real Free Market would not allow artificial barriers ... and would demand compensation to all affected third parties when their rights to their properties and their lives are affected e.g. polluted air, polluted lakes, rivers, seas etc.
The Revolutionary Left wages war against an opponent that seeks to pass itself off as the Free Market - like Apartheid South Africa used to do, with Job Reservation and Pass Laws acting as barriers to competition in order to benefit what were, frankly, corporate fascists.
The new emerging voices for the Real Free Market include Max Keiser on RTV ... and the resilient Leon Louw of the Free Market Foundation in South Africa.
