Patent Trolls

Patent trolls are simply scavengers.

Go back to your schoolyard days and you will recall the 'smart a#$e', always there finding some way to milk you out of your sandwiches or whatever.

Patent trolls produce Nothing!

They purposefully misuse the laws that are aimed to protect honest work ... seeking to gain unfairly.

And whatever is not fair does not promote Sustainability.

Patent trolls are just a more refined and sophisticated version of Mafia like operations that demand 'protection' money from hardworking citizens. However, the violence threatening Mafias are at least honest - they do not pretend to be anything but Mafias.

At the same time one must consider the legal firms that act on behalf of the Patent trolls - there again we have the equivalent of the law firms that protect criminal syndicates.

Yes, we are all entitled to a fair trial and in that regard the law firms who act for the criminal syndicates do have a role, being part of supporting a fair justice system.

So that makes the firms who support patent trolls even less honourable. There is no trial going down, no need to ensure a fair justice. Law firms, if they had moral backbone, should simply walk away from such a Client.

Money however speaks volumes ... and the less honourable are prone to acting precisely that way, regardless of tertiary education and professional commitments, more so when there is financial reward.

We should not be surprised that there are patent trolls ... after all there are gun runners, drug traffickers, human traffickers, and the rest of that minority of humanity that is criminal, be it legally or morally.

No amount of perfume. physique sculpting, grooming, shampooing, bikini waxing, expensive clothing, etc will remove the Scavenger in scavengers.

Hopefully they eventually all cross one line too far and get their deserved comeuppance at some point of their parasitic lives.

Life however is mostly not that fair ...
