At time of writing the Euro 2012 is in its last of the semi final stages.
Tonight Italy plays Germany to decide who will face Spain on Sunday.
The Ukraine was slammed as a racist state prior to the Euro 2012 ... and has surprised all its critics at its splendid hosting and welcome to all.
In an interview with Euro News:
http://www.euronews.com/2012/06/26/lviv-set-for-life-after-euro-2012/

Pride for our native country.
It’s a special feeling that sends shivers down the spine,
when tears appear.
And you want so much to have this pride permanently.
As a South African I remember the same feeling after the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
The magnificent Cape Town Stadium stands like a jewel with Table Mountain as backdrop as a daily reminder.
Perhaps even more I remember the taxis rocking and cheering alongside as we waited for red lights to turn green, in 1995.
The Springboks had just won the 1995 Rugby World Cup ... and the whole nation, black and white were united.
The stuff that movies are made of ... and indeed they were.
Sustainability needs that feeling ...
