Sometimes birds, sometimes trees by Laksmi davi Love
There are times in life when we are birds.
We want to fly, but our wings are short and do not allow us to reach beyond the horizon. What we want always beyond what we are.
There are moments in life that we have long wings.
We can raise long flights, but our limits are determined by the weight of baggage that life gives us.
These are bags that meet a variety of names: Common sense, justice, fear.
There are those who rid themselves of their weight and can fly very high.
Some reach fantastic destinations, many know the taste of disaster.
But there are times in life when we all can fly.
We become trees, when we find ourselves rooted to the ground, trapped in space and time. We are not aware of this change, which takes away our wings and lends twigs and branches.
Just so we find ourselves.
But when we seek the light, give up or dig for energy, stopped growing. But there are no trees like that.
The trees chase their destiny, which is to grow and eat. Just as there are birds that fly only to seek.
Knowing when the flight or the time to take root is the great wisdom.
Knowing how intensely The time to pollinate the flowers, Or The time to let the wind and rain spread our seeds Is the destiny of life.
If you are a bird, fly in search of your dream.
If you are a tree may you grow as high as you can and leave the earth to take care of its seeds.
